KYCK19

Register Here

One of the highlights of The Rising every year is attending KYCK. This is a Christian conference for high schoolers in Katoomba. Every high schooler is welcome. This year we will be attending KYCK #3 on May 3-5. This is the end of the first week back at school in Term 2. We will leave on the Friday afternoon from Avalon, and we will return on Sunday afternoon before 5pm Church. Everyone is invited to stay for church!

Our accommodation this year will be similar to last year – holiday houses near Katoomba. If you would like to learn more about the conference, go to http://www.kyck.kcc.org.au

The ticket includes the KYCK entry pass, accommodation, food and transport to Katoomba and back. Ticket pricing is as follows:

$215              for 1 child
$387              for 2 children (this is a 10% discount)
$564              for 3 children (this is a 12.5% discount)
$161              for a leader

We do have several generous people who are willing to support families in enabling their kids to attend KYCK. If you need financial assistance, I would be very glad to help arrange that.

What to bring:

·      Warm clothing (Katoomba in May averages 6-13 degrees)

·      Wet weather gear

·      Toiletries

·      Towel

·      A Bible & pen

·      A bit of spending money (dinner on the way up will be at Blaxland Maccas, as is traditional)

·      We will need some people to bring mattresses / camping beds, sleeping bags, and pillows as there won’t be quite enough beds in each house.
